During the 80's, John had a string of successful business' in the Midlands. Two in particular; John owned The Masters Club in Nottingham and Early Doors Diner.
The Masters Club was named after his late father Master Singh. The Masters Club was the first upmarket Snooker and Leisure Club, attracting prestigious global members and Snooker players.
John worked with Miss Angie Beasley to organise the 'Miss Early Doors' beauty competition which was a fashion show with weekly heats and a grand final hosted at his venues.
In the 90's, John's company Worldwide Snooker Promotions began to sponsor Miss UK, where John worked closely with the late Mr Eric Morley of Miss World in 1994.
Alongside running his business', John created a 'Snooker with Beauty' calendar featuring professional snooker players Steve Davis, Jimmy White, Ronnie O Sullivan and Jason Ferguson who is the current chairman of the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association.
It was this moment when John realised he wanted to spread his wings in the beauty-pageant business and he became the CEO Owner of Miss Great Britain®.
John Singh is the Chairman of Miss Great Britain Organisation.
He is the CEO and Owner of prestigious beauty pageant Miss Great Britain® alongside popular sub-brands: Ms Great Britain® and Ms Great Britain Classic®.
John Singh made history, crowning his first winner and to this date only the first black Miss Great Britain. Singer and dancer Anita St Rose took the crown.
In 2021, John is currently working on his new Great Britain project to be announced in 2022.
